Targeted Review of Qualifications – Information Required.
An email was sent to members at the start of last week by Nicky van der Bergh who has been contracted by the CTMES Executive to develop the documentation required by NZQA. It seems that most members received this email but some did not. If you did not receive this email and believe you should have, please contact Nicky: educornz@gmail.com
CTMES Executive Meeting
The CTMES Executive met last Thursday (3rd May) in Auckland. This was a worthwhile meeting. The following was discussed:
- Membership Subscriptions for 2012/13. The subscription invoices will be sent out immediately after the Exec meeting. Note that the subscription rate is unchanged from previous years. It does not include any TRoQ related costs.
- CTMES Conference and AGM. The date for next years meeting was set at the AGM. A Wellington venue was agreed.
- TRoQ. This project is progressing well. It is intended that the project contractor will have qualification drafts ready to submit to members for consulation prior by the end of the month. Following this they will be submitted to NZQA. The cost of this development cannot yet be finalised until the number of qualifications is determined.
- Executive Roles and Responsiblities. The tasks of the executive was discussed. The responsibilities of existings executive remain the same but new members were allocated new responsibilities. A new Deputy Chair was elected. Click here for more details on Executive members.
CTMES Conference and Annual General Meeting 2013
A reminder that the CTMES Conference and AGM will be on Friday 22nd March 2013 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. This will be in Wellington. the venue is to be confirmed.
